We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Inside Sales professional, to join Oxford Nanopore as Nanopore Account Specialist.
This exciting, challenging role will be responsible for increasing product usage per user and accelerating lead conversion, as well as working to ensure the retention and progression of existing customers by actively delivering up to date product information and building relationships.
Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be confident in creating and maintaining excellent working relationships both internally and externally, whilst working toward exceptional account management support.
This position will be required to work closely with the Customer Service and Technical Support teams and to liaise with the Strategic Account Managers to best address the needs of each customer.
Previous experience in Sales, cold calling, and Customer Relationship Management tools will be required.
Responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage incoming sales leads and nurture to conversion
- Deliver up to date technical product updates to new and existing customers
- Actively implement sales campaigns at the guidance of the marketing and communication teams.
- Adhere to best practices for tracking, recording and documenting relevant commercial intelligence.
What We Are Looking For…..
The Nanopore Account Specialist will have excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating strong organisational and problem solving capability.
They will be self-motivated, with the communication skills to effectively engage with the customer and across multi-disciplinary teams within the Company.
The ideal candidate will preferably have a background in genetics and genomics with knowledge of the Life Sciences and Genomics market and an understanding of current DNA sequencing technologies and their applications in order to effectively support new and existing customers.
It is a key requirement of this role that candidates are multi-lingual, most preferably fluent in French (both verbal and written) although other languages may be considered.
